But this one actor, the `ockstar Billy impressed me well. And i wrote that in my worldtrip-diary! jears later i read, you got a bafta-award for that role - well done! And congratulation for ´the boat that rocked´ and for ´valkyrie´ -greetings from a german in berlin! |
Agnes | 387. · 06-15-2009 22:49 Hi Bill, I'm not really the kind of person who writes to actors hoping that they would answer or at least read it, and I also know you've heard the things I will say a thousand times before, but still. I saw a couple of your films and there's just something about you that I really like. I think you're a great actor, and possibly a great person too (strange to say that based only on some interviews I saw, but anyway..). I'm a young woman and it might sound weird to say this but well, I'm even quite attracted to you. Anyway, I just want to say that I wish you all the best and keep up the good work, I can't wait to see your next movie. With love A. from Hungary |
Brodie Cowling | 386. · 06-02-2009 8:28 Hi Bill, I love the movie valkyrie,Pirates of the carribian, flushed away, I could go on for ages! Your a great actor! cya P.S my favourite is Valkyrie, "We've been discovered!" bye |
Michael Young Cho | 385. · 05-30-2009 19:02 Hi Bill, I'm a standup comedian in NY & also a movie watcher. I was quite impressed with your acting in Valkyrie that I posted on Face Book this: Wow the actor, Bill Nighy, who played General Friedrich Olbricht just stole the movie. He danced circles around Tom Cruise's acting. Wow!!! When you 1st see General Olbricht's profile you get the "Stern, hardened, career professional commissioned officer" At the end of the movie, when he is about to face the firing squad, he starts to whimper & almost cry. What a vast contrast to the initial persona he exuded! Bill Nighy, has added complexity, depth, & sensitivity to his character. He has shown that it's not important what character you get, but rather what you do with the role. |
Bryant | 384. · 05-26-2009 10:26 Hi. Just found your site and wanted to say how great an actor you are. I think you are an extraordinary character actor, which is why I think you would make the most perfect Dr. Doom. I read that Marvel and Fox Studios are "rebooting" the Fantastic Four franchise. I think that you would make an unbelievable Dr. Doom because he is a smart and elegant super villian. Your wonderful portrayal of Victor in the Underworld movies is proof that you would be the best possibel Dr, Doom. If they want to make a smart Fantastic Four, they would choose you. Just a thought. Thanks from a huge fan. Bryant |
Evelyn Porowski | 383. · 05-23-2009 22:54 Hallo there, I am completly impressed of the acting and singing-skills of Mr Nighy. As Vikor he is marvellous. From Holland with love...... a new BIG fan. |

Andreas09 | | 381. · 05-17-2009 21:51 Hello I am very impressed with your skill of speaking and I must say i liked your acting, I am from germany and just now i had found out that you where the one who acted as the captain DAVY JONES, and maybe in the future we will make a contract between us, with regards Andreas |
Qua | 380. · 05-16-2009 15:25 love everything Nighy - he has a gift in his voice and his range of roles is just incredible - to be so convincing in so many different ways - a real character actor, always believable. Would love to know more about the Lord of the Rings radio stuff, remember listening to it on a Sunday afternoon but never would have clicked it was Bill till I checked on the net. Couldn't believe there was another Bill Nighy but even so he was so different in it - i have it on CD now, it's just great. All the Love to Bill and the rest of you guys |
